How to Use Yilu Proxy IP on iPhone

This guide explains how to connect to Yilu’s rotating proxy IP directly on iPhone or iPad devices using the built-in wireless LAN functionality of the iOS system.

Advantages:

  • No need to install third-party apps; functionality is achieved using iOS’s built-in features.
  • Prevents IP conflicts or mixing.

Disadvantages:

  • Cannot be used under a wireless network; works only with Yilu’s rotating proxy IP. (This can be resolved using third-party apps. Refer to: [How to Use Yilu Proxy IP on Shadowrocket].)

Important Note:

After closing the Yilu proxy client, proxy IPs configured in the fixed port and port forwarding list will not be saved and must be reconfigured. It is recommended to keep the Yilu proxy client running continuously while using proxy IPs.

Steps to Configure on iOS:

  1. Ensure your iPhone and computer are on the same local area network (LAN), which means they are connected to the same Wi-Fi router. (It is recommended to disable the firewall on your computer.)
  2. Use a computer as the server and install the Yilu proxy software on it.
  3. Configure Yilu’s dynamic residential or data center IPs: [Dynamic IP Configuration Guide].
  4. In Yilu proxy settings, set the listening address to the computer’s LAN IP.

1.IP Port Forwarding
After extraction, configure directly using port forwarding:

On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → Wi-Fi → connect to the same router’s Wi-Fi network → tap the blue “ⓘ” icon → Configure Proxy → select Manual → enter the server(Your IP address) and the port you forwarded → tap Save. Finally, open the Safari browser to verify whether the connection to the Yilu Proxy IP is successful.

Finally, open the Safari browser to verify. Enter ipinfo.io, and if the displayed IP matches Yilu Proxy’s dynamic IP, the configuration is successful.

2.The method for filling in dynamic IP information for use.

On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → Wi-Fi → connect to the same router’s Wi-Fi network → tap the blue “ⓘ” icon → Configure Proxy → select Manual →Click Authentication→enter the IP information → tap Save. Finally, open the Safari browser to verify whether the connection to the Yilu Proxy IP is successful.
