Google Chrome – YiLu Local Direct Connection (Applicable for Dynamic IPs)
I. Open the YILU Official Website
Download the YILU Client:
Yilu Proxy Installation Package
Notes:
1. Ensure the firewall is turned off when downloading or using the Yilu client.
2. Save the Yilu client download to a non-desktop location on your computer, preferably the D drive or E drive.
3. Extract the installation package in the drive where it was downloaded, then double-click the `YiluProxy.exe` file to open the Yilu client.
4. For convenience, you can create a shortcut of the extracted Yilu client on the desktop.
II. Creating a Yilu Account and Logging In
a. In the bottom right corner of the Yilu client, you can choose your language. Currently, only Chinese and English are supported. Click to switch between languages.
b. After selecting your language, click “Create New Account.” On the popup screen, fill in an email address that can receive SMS messages, a password, and an invitation code (optional). Then click “Create Account.”
c. After registering your Yilu account, enter your username (the registered email) and password. Click “Secure Login” to start your “Yilu journey.”
III. Open the YILU Client and Add Google Chrome
Click on [Programs] and add Google Chrome.
There are two methods to add Google Chrome:
Method 1:
Drag Google Chrome directly into the software program interface. Move the cursor over the Google Chrome program, hold down the left mouse button, and drag the software into the [Programs] interface.
Method 2:
1. Click the [Add Program] button on the right side of the [Programs]interface.
2. Select the Google Chrome software.
3. Click Save
IV. Settings
1. Open the [Settings] tab in the Yilu client interface.
2. Proxy Port: Choose either random or custom settings.
3. Port Forwarding: Set the port range as needed.
4. Listening Address: Typically choose 127.0.0.1.
5. Use Proxy IP for More Than 24 Hours: Set according to your needs.
6. Proxy Engine Settings: Select the Yilu Portable Proxy Engine.
7. Proxy Rules:
– Only proxy applications in the Yilu programs tab; other traffic will go through the local network.
– Intercept UDP non-DNS request data (recommended to check this to prevent the browser from leaking your real IP). 8. Save Settings: Ensure all steps 1-7 are correct, and don’t forget to save the settings.
V. Using Dynamic Residential IP / Dynamic Mobile IP / Dynamic Data Center IP (Username + Password Method):
(Note: This method is not applicable for various types of static IPs as they do not have a username and password.)
1. Click the “Dynamic Residential IP / Dynamic Mobile IP / Dynamic Data Center IP” option.
2. Select the desired IP type, such as “Dynamic Residential IP” or “Dynamic Data Center IP.” Choose the required country, state, and city (Dynamic Data Center IP does not currently support selecting state and city).
3. Choose the format for generating the IP, such as “IP:Port:Username:Password” or “Username:Password@IP:Port.”
4. Select the quantity of IPs to generate.
5. Click the “Extract (HTTP/Socks5)” button to obtain the IP information.
VI. Downloading the SwitchyOmega Extension from the Chrome Web Store
1. Open Google Chrome and go to the Chrome Web Store.
2. Search for the SwitchyOmega extension.
3. Click Add to Chrome to install the extension.
VII. Setting Up the SwitchyOmega Extension
1. Select New Profile.
2. Profile Name: Enter a name of your choice, such as “YiLu”.
3. Profile Type: Choose Proxy Server.
4. Click Create.
VIII. Filling in the Profile Created in SwitchyOmega
1. Profile Name: yilu (the name you created)
2. Proxy Server:
– Dynamic IP: Choose either HTTP or Socks5.
– Proxy Server: Enter the username of the dynamic IP you extracted.
– Proxy Port: Enter the port of the dynamic IP you extracted.
3. Click the “Apply Changes”button to save the settings.
IX. Checking if the Proxy is Successful
1. Open the ipinfo.io website to check if the IP information matches the proxy IP information used by the client. If they match, it indicates success.
2. Once it shows success, it means the method is correct, and you can start your business.
Note: How to Check the Real IP Being Used?
After extracting dynamic IPs in the YILU client, the “Proxy IP” column displays the same IP because it shows the relay acceleration server IP. The real IP in use is shown in the “Detect Real IP” column. To view the real IP:
1. Select an IP from the list.
2. Right-click on the selected IP.
3. Choose “Detect Exit IP” to see the real IP being used.
X. Port Forwarding Method Tutorial:
(Applicable for all types of IPs: Dynamic Residential IP, Dynamic Mobile IP, Dynamic Data Center IP, Shared Static IP, Dedicated Static Data Center IP, and Dedicated Static Residential IP)
First, follow steps 1 through 4 from the previous tutorials to check and set up the configurations, ensuring everything is correct. Then follow these 8 steps:
1. Confirm the IP type, for example: Dynamic Residential IP.
2. Select an already extracted Dynamic Residential IP.
3. Right-click and choose “Forward Port to Proxy.”
4. Choose the desired port.
Notes:
a. Each port can only be set to one IP address, but you can change the IP for that port at any time.
b. After setting up, you can view the specific IP information for each port in the “Port Forwarding List.”
c. “Used” indicates that the port has an IP address set.
“Free” indicates that the port is currently idle and has no IP address set. d. The port forwarding setup method is the same for both static and dynamic IPs.
e.How to Check the Real IP Being Used?
After extracting dynamic IPs in the YILU client, the “Proxy IP” column displays the same IP because it shows the relay acceleration server IP. The real IP in use is shown in the “Detect Real IP” column. To view the real IP:
1. Select an IP from the list.
2. Right-click on the selected IP.
3. Choose “Detect Exit IP” to see the real IP being used.
As illustrated:
1. Relay Server IP
2. Forwarded Port
3. Same as (1. Relay Server IP)
4. Extracted Format: (IP:Port:Username:Password)
5. Real IP Exit
XI. Downloading the SwitchyOmega Extension from the Chrome Web Store
1. Open Google Chrome and go to the Chrome Web Store.
2. Search for the SwitchyOmega extension.
3. Click Add to Chrome to install the extension.
XII. Setting Up the SwitchyOmega Extension
1. Select New Profile.
2. Profile Name: Enter a name of your choice, such as “YiLu”.
3. Profile Type: Choose Proxy Server.
4. Click Create.
XIII. Filling in the Profile Created in SwitchyOmega
1. Profile Name: yilu (the name you created)
2. Proxy Server:
– Proxy Protocol:
1. For dynamic IP, choose either HTTP or Socks5.
2. For static IP, you must choose Socks5.
– Proxy Server:
1. When the listening address is 127.0.0.1, enter 127.0.0.1 as the proxy server IP.
2. When the listening address is 0.0.0.0 or a local network IP, enter the local network IP as the proxy server IP (you can find your local network IP in the “Settings” tab of the YiLu client).
– Proxy Port: Enter the actual forwarding port, which can be found in the “Port Forwarding List” in the client.
3. Click the “Apply Changes” button to save the settings.
XIV. Checking if the Proxy is Successful
1. Open the ipinfo.io website to check if the IP information matches the proxy IP information used by the client. If they match, it indicates success.
2. Once it shows success, it means the method is correct, and you can start your business.
