Firefox Browser – YiLu Dynamic IP Setup

I. Open the YILU Official Website

Yilu Proxy

Download the YILU Client:

Yilu Proxy Installation Package

Notes:

1. Ensure the firewall is turned off when downloading or using the Yilu client.

2. Save the Yilu client download to a non-desktop location on your computer, preferably the D drive or E drive.

3. Extract the installation package in the drive where it was downloaded, then double-click the `YiluProxy.exe` file to open the Yilu client.

4. For convenience, you can create a shortcut of the extracted Yilu client on the desktop.

II. Creating a Yilu Account and Logging In

a. In the bottom right corner of the Yilu client, you can choose your language. Currently, only Chinese and English are supported. Click to switch between languages.

b. After selecting your language, click “Create New Account.” On the popup screen, fill in an email address that can receive SMS messages, a password, and an invitation code (optional). Then click “Create Account.”

c. After registering your Yilu account, enter your username (the registered email) and password. Click “Secure Login” to start your “Yilu journey.”

III. Open the YILU Client and Add Firefox Browser

Click on [Programs] and add the Firefox browser.

There are two methods to add the Firefox browser:

Method 1:

Drag the Firefox browser directly into the software program interface. Move the cursor over the Firefox browser program, hold down the left mouse button, and drag the software into the [Programs] interface.

Method 2:

1. Click the [Add Program] button on the right side of the [Programs] interface.

2. Select the Firefox browser software.

3. Click Save

IV. Settings

1. Settings: Click [Settings] in YiLu.

2. Proxy Port:You can choose a randomly generated port or specify a custom port.

3. Port Forwarding:Set the port range as needed, e.g., 5500-5510, allowing multiple ports to be forwarded simultaneously. Each port needs to be assigned an IP address.

4. Listening Address:

   – a. For use with the local browser, choose 127.0.0.1.

   – b. For use with multiple devices, choose 0.0.0.0 or your local network IP.

   – c. When using username (account) + password, the listening address can be chosen freely.

5. Use Proxy IP for More Than 24 Hours: Set according to your needs.

6. Engine Settings: Select Yilu Portable Proxy Engine.

7. Proxy Rules: Choose to proxy only applications in the YiLu programs tab; other traffic will go through your local network. 8. Save Settings: Ensure all settings are correct and save the configuration.

V. Using Dynamic Residential IP / Dynamic Mobile IP / Dynamic Data Center IP (Username + Password Method):

(Note: This method is not applicable for various types of static IPs as they do not have a username and password.)

A. YiLu Client Settings:

1. Click the “Dynamic Residential IP / Dynamic Mobile IP / Dynamic Data Center IP” option.

2. Select the desired IP type, such as “Dynamic Residential IP” or “Dynamic Data Center IP.” Choose the required country, state, and city (Dynamic Data Center IP does not currently support selecting state and city).

3. Choose the format for generating the IP, such as “IP:Port:Username:Password” or “Username:Password@IP:Port.”

4. Select the quantity of IPs to generate.

5. Click the “Extract (HTTP/Socks5)” button to obtain the IP information.

B. Setting Up Proxy Server in Firefox Browser:

1. Open Firefox and click the button in the upper right corner.

2. Click Settings to enter the configuration page.

3. Click General and scroll to the bottom.

4. Click Settings in the Network Settings section.

5. Select Manual proxy configuration.

6. Proxy IP: Enter the IP address extracted from the YiLu client.

7. Port: Enter the port extracted from the YiLu client.

8. Check the box for Use this proxy server for all protocols.

9. Click the OK button to complete the configuration.

10. Open any website, such as ipinfo.io, to check the setup.

11. In the pop-up dialog, enter the IP username extracted from the YiLu client.

12. In the pop-up dialog, enter the IP password extracted from the YiLu client. 13. Click the Login button to save the configuration. Once successful, you can start your business operations.

VI. Port Forwarding Method Tutorial:

(Note: This method is applicable for all types of IPs: Dynamic Residential IP, Dynamic Mobile IP, Dynamic Data Center IP, Shared Static IP, Dedicated Static Data Center IP, and Dedicated Static Residential IP)

First, follow steps 1 through 4 from the previous tutorials to check and set up the configurations, ensuring everything is correct. Then follow these 8 steps:

A. YiLu Client Settings:

1. Confirm IP Type: For example, Dynamic Residential IP.

2. Select an IP Address: Choose an already extracted Dynamic Residential IP.

3. Right-Click and Choose “Forward Port to Proxy”:

4. Select the Desired Port:

   – Note a: Each port can only be assigned one IP address, but you can change the IP for that port at any time.

   – Note b:After setting up, you can view the specific IP information for each port in the “Port Forwarding List.”

   – Note c: “Used” indicates that the port has an IP address set.

   – Note d: “Free” indicates that the port is currently idle and has no IP address set.    – Note e: The port forwarding setup method is the same for both static and dynamic IPs.

Note e: How to Check the Real IP Being Used?

After extracting dynamic IPs in the YILU client, the “Proxy IP” column displays the same IP because it shows the relay acceleration server IP. The real IP in use is shown in the “Detect Real IP” column. To view the real IP:

(1) Select an IP from the list.

(2)Right-click on the selected IP.

(3)Choose “Detect Exit IP” to see the real IP being used.

Explanation:

(1)Relay Server IP: The IP shown in the “Proxy IP” column.

(2)Forwarded Port:The port you have configured for forwarding.

(3)Same as Relay Server IP: Repeated information for clarity.

(4)Extracted Format: (IP:Port:Username:Password) – The format in which you have extracted the IP information.

(5)Real IP Exit:The actual IP being used, displayed in the “Detect Real IP” column.

B. Setting Up Proxy Server in Firefox Browser:Refer to the method described in section V.B above. You can also refer to the “YiLu Static Port Forwarding Tutorial” for similar steps. The setup method is the same, so it will not be repeated here.
